POSCO, ENTERED INTO LONG-TERM CONTRACT WITH ENRC INTRODUCING JIT SYSTEM.

Through JIT system, POSCO can be stably and timely supplied with these materials as needed day by day, rather than receiving these materials all together and piling up in its own yard.

Different from CIF (Cost Insurance & Freight) system in which the supplier brings ships with raw materials alongside the cargo pier and POSCO transports and upload the inventory under its own management, JIT is a brilliant product management system which POSCO receives the raw materials whenever it needs from the supplier. As this system maintains the inventory rates “0” at all times, it is featured to minimize inventory expenses for the company.
